\'Le Jardin des Amis\' is a former farm which has been carefully renovated to provide 5 comfortable self-catering gites. Tilleul is the largest, sleeping 8 - 10 people with the other gites sleeping from 2 to 6. The gites have retained many of their original features such as exposed oak beams and stone floors.
The 12x6 metre pool is shared by the gites, with the pool side bar being a good socialising spot!
The complex is well located in 7 acres, on the edge of the peaceful medieval village of Meyrals with its boulangerie, post office, bar and restaurants. A short drive will take you to Les Eyzie de Tayac in the Vezere Valley, with its world famous cave paintings and national museum of prehistory. Other famous caves such as those at Lascaux are a further 20 minutes drive.
A ten minute drive from Meyrals is St. Cyprien with its excellent Sunday morning market which abounds with local produce such: walnuts, cheese, duck and fois gras not to mention freshly picked fruit and vegetables!
