The cottage is over 300 years old, situated in a valley, next to a quiet farm. It is full of character, with a large grassy garden and sits on the bend of the River Varenne. There are fabulous views across to the tiny village and church.
Inside it is light and spacious and furnished comfortably, with views to the river and the surrounding countryside. There is a separate lounge, kitchen and dining room.
Access to the bedroom upstairs is by a very steep staircase, which is not suitable for the elderly, infirm or children.
This cottage is not for city lovers, but perfect for those who love the French way of life, in a rustic, country environment with wildlife and super views.
