‘Tournasol’ is a newly built, 4 bedroom bungalow completed in 2007. It is situated in the picturesque village of Brie-sous-Archiac which has a resident population of 235. The property is set within its own newly lawned grounds of approximately ¾ acre and is surrounded by a small number of residential properties and fields of vines and sunflowers.
Brie-sous-Archiac is a small community in the Poitou-Charentes Region of France. The village is one of the most easterly points within the Charente-Maritime Department along its border with the Charente Department.
The village has a church, small infant school and community hall. There are no shops in the village. The situation of the house allows for hours of strolls or more vigorous walks along the lanes, nearby woods and through the fields of vines.
Day trips to the coastal areas around Royan and inland to places such as Angouleme, Cognac, Brantome and St Emillion are all within a comfortable distance.
